I have been running my Hova bator 1602 for about a week now and have everthing dialed in. Temp at 99.6 and humidity at 38%. I just got my first eggs yesterday and I plan on setting them tonight (Wednesday) . I got 12-3=9 eggs (3 broke in shipping:(). I am also getting another 10 eggs tomorrow. Is it going to be a problem setting one set tonight and another set probably Friday morning? Is this going to be a problem come lock down?

Thanks in advance for any help.....

If the 1602 is still air (which I think it is) your temp needs to be 101.5 If it is circulated your temp is perfect. Setting the eggs at different times will cause an issue when it comes to lockdown. If the eggs you have now are not that old, I would wait and set them all Friday. Eggs can set for 7-10 days without losing their fertility. If you do decide to wait on the others, make sure you turn these eggs 3 times a day, just like they were in the bator. If you cannot wait, I think I would set them tomorrow to split the time difference and still open the bator on day 19 to turn your new eggs and increase your humidity at that time. I would like to say though, if at all possible, it is much better to wait and set them at the same time. Good luck with your hatch.

You don't have to wait after you receive your new eggs to set them in the incubator. They will do just fine if you set them right away.

Lots of people like to let them rest from the jostling of shipping, but honestly - they can rest in the incubator just as well as out of it.

Just wait till tomorrow & set them all tomorrow night.

I bought a fan kit for my 1602 and an egg turner. I thought these items would be better for me since I work 11 hr days. My first set of eggs will be about 7 days old on Friday. But if they will be ok then I believe that I will wait till friday and set all the eggs together.

Thanks.
