Just got home from work to discover a stray dog in the neighborhood, part of my flimsy fence pushed down, and one dead baby in the yard. My poor sweet Violet!! None of the others were harmed, thank goodness, though they're all about half bald.
My neighbors know the dog's owners and called them to come get the dog. To his credit, I suppose, the doofy guy apologized several times and offered to "buy me a new chicken"!! AS IF!!
