Well, of course since we live out in the middle of nowhere, there was no witness, so the police won't do anything about it. The P.O. won't do anything about it, because it wasn't insured, and because they say that 'the carrier delivered them the way that was acceptable in the past', which is bull. It was not acceptable, but I couldn't get him to do it any other way. It was either that or they would sit at the post office for days after they remembered to put the note in my box. I will still try to fight it, but I doubt anything will come of it. Finally, my carrier is going to personally call me when I have a package, and leave it at the post office. That's what I wanted in the first place, but the postmaster said they didn't do that. I should be getting some eggs tomorrow, so we'll see if he remembers to call.
