I have all of you guys beat..Last night I had a dream about socks..
Yep socks

... I was putting them on and saying.."nah..this pair is too short..these go up too high..etc..".
Really?? I have nothing better to dream about than SOCKS?!! Its a sign... i'm officially an old lady now..

And THEN after I woke up from the dream..I was like.."WTH..I gotta go post this in the Need a life thread.." So that DOUBLE proves I need a life...

Oh and I need to dye my hair again...the greys are showing...

Wow, really? Socks. All I dreamed about he other night is I replaced the head gasket on the Cummins BT6 diesel engine in my old truck. It was pretty realistic too! I could hear the clicks of the torque wrench and I woke up with sore arms and shoulders. I'm a workaholic. Even in my dreams I'm working.


As for the greys, I find that a touch of grey on most women is kinda hot. . . . . . ok, I'm getting old.

Well, my minions (the only ones here right now) have four legs and if they want to be fed, they know they'd better work. Now when my DD comes back from my sister's house, well, that is one little minion that knows if she wants girly stuff, she has to work. Momma don't do the girly stuff for free!!! Those fuchsia highlights she wants are not cheap!!! And the sparkly accessories she wants for her hair and nails?? Not cheap either!!

I do not understand where this girly girl came from! I was a tomboy growing up...still would choose jeans and t-shirts over dresses ANY day!!! Would rather work outside doing yard work, washing the car or, heck, even changing the oil in the car than in the house doing *gasp* housework!

I figured if I had a girl, she would turn out like her momma....but NOOOOOOOO... She has to have PINK *the horror* clothes, shiny, sparkly shoes, dresses *I feel faint!*, and now....now!!! She wants...HEELS!!! She's only 8! Well, 9 in another 2 1/2 weeks. Where did this alien child come from????

Em, this is getting too weird. I went and did some work at an emu ranch that handles rescued birds. I got too close to one of the pens and a female emu layed her neck across my shoulder. I wasn't sure if she was kidding me, but the owner told me that they had been waiting weeks for that "young lady" to select her mate, and at that moment she just did.

Ooo. . . that darn sparkly.
