I need someone to design me a logo, please. Have some ideas but can't get it figured out....

In exchange, I can offer you a GFM OR hatching eggs (shipped at my expense).

Requirements:

It needs to be something simple, yet recognizable as my farm.

It needs to include:

My farm name, Rare Feathers Farm
My tagline, which is Specializing in Rare Poultry Preservation
My website, www.rarefeathers.com

This is a design my DH came up with, using Fireworks & my Sumatra roo....

Eye-catching but kind of boring....I need something more....

I have been thinking of asking for the same kind of help for our farm. Hope someone is able to come up with something great for you!

I would be willing to make you a banner. I already have a GFM though, and I have a feeling the family wouldn't be very happy with me, should I opt for the hatching eggs...

I could make you one for free.

Nice, but you're right, kinda boring. (Sorry.) Your logo should have a selection of three or five (odd numbers) pretty feathers, with the shafts starting at the left of the logo and the feathers draping across to the right. Farm name above the feathers, nice script in smaller font for "Specializing in Rare Poultry Preservation" - perhaps italicized - and the URL for the website much smaller and NOT italicized across the bottom of the logo.

That's how I envision it, anyway.

Heather, I really like what your DH has done so far - to me, it looks understated but elegant. I love the silhouette. And the colors. (I would cap the first letters in Rare Poultry Preservation.) Any way he could do the same type silhouette of a Sebastopol and add it in? I think those 2 silhouettes together would be stunning.

Yeah I've had all kinds of ideas....I drew some of them out, too....I had one with RARE FEATHERS FARM written in feathers of different breeds, which I liked but it was too busy.

Thanks! Maybe?? I'll have to go through my pictures and see if I have a good Sebbie silhouette...most of the time I try to get 3/4 shots of them...and of course, they're raggedy as heck right now in the middle of breeding season!
