I like Paul's logo:
It is very simple but easily recognizable as his.
I would want brighter colors, though and to include my website--without making it too busy.
I would move the farm name to the top. I would have a sebbie goose head & shoulders in the back, a GL cochin in front of that and then maybe a Sumatra on the right...
