The rumpies I thought of didn't because of their ferility issues...not had the best of luck with Sandhill so I'm going to try elsewhere.

What about Standard Blue Salmon Favorelles. Delawares are really great too.
Don't give up on the BLR Wyandottes. I managed to get 3 to hatch out and thrive. They are lovely. And the Light Sussex are so pretty. I have got to get out and take some pics for you.
I tried to incorporate them into the big coop today and it was a no go. Those big birds were bullying them all over the place.
Oh just thought of this...I have one buff Sussex. It is really pretty. Why not work on those too?

I felt bad with such "rare" birds that I was killing! LOL So I sold them to a lady on the coast who was going to work on them. I also tried to hatch out some blue salmon banty favs and got ONE (cockerel, of course!) I don't care for the looks of the buff sussex, LOL I'm picky! And I want to see how these Lights do this winter...I sent my payment into Paul--so I've got a pair coming in a few weeks!
