I need a processor in Indiana

About 3 weeks ago we got 30 Cornish X chicks with the plan to process them at home. Now no one in my family (besides me) wants to process them. I don't want to do 30 of them by myself nor do I have the time.

Does anyone know a place that processes in central Indiana? I have called a few places and they tell me the state has shut a lot down because of the bird flu that went around a few years ago. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

This may be too far, but Martin's Chicken Butchering in Goshen (574) 831-6267. Never used them, but have heard others say they're good. Search on Google and you should be able to find someone closer.

I just used Hyatt's in Rochester, IN. That's pretty much the farthest south one I know of. The other's, like Martin's, are up around Goshen/Napannee.

Live birds are dropped off early in the morning, and chilled, shrink-wrapped, and weighed birds are ready for pick up in the middle of the afternoon. Live birds can be caged or loose in a trailer.
