I need a quiet duck!!

Hello! I have one very very very and dare I say it again very loud runner ayelsbury cross she quacks all day everyday and I'm in a really built up enclosure encase we need to get rid of her I need to know the quietest breeds please. Any suggestions good.

Muscovys are super silent. Might get a hiss out of them once in a while, but very rare.
Also my mallard boys and girls were quiet quackers.

Your right she was nearly silent when with her Drake now he's gone she loud. We are working on getting her some companions.

In about 2 weeks I my friend will have a young female runner and Muscovy. Will those breeds get along or do I need both runners or both muscovys?

My Muscovy stick together all but one an she likes to hang out with the Runners she brooded in 2016. She is brooding Runner eggs again now. So it can be done. Although 2 Runners would probably be better but then you’ll have 3 quackers.
