If there is a run maybe you could lock them in the coop and run area for a few days to avoid locking them in the coop. If not, and you don't lock them in the coop for a couple of days or more, they may wander off. They do need to learn where their new home is. i would also hold off on new foods until they seem accustomed to their new home. If it is hot where you are, be sure they have plenty of shade and breeze, as this is the time of year you will read on here about chickens dying from getting overheated.
