Unless they are limping and favoring that foot/toe they will be fine.

Quadrupeds (dogs, cats, cows, ect) live long happy lives with only 3 legs. Your chickens are fine with a missing claw or 2.

Welcome to BYC! I saw your pictures and they would not concern me unless the chicken indicate it is a disability. They are amazing creatures with their ability to heal if afflicted, attacked, or just have accidents. You don't want to know what we have worried over with them. It would probably take me a month to write that post.

I agree with the others, as long as the bird is not limping, the nail is not falling off, its probably nothing to worry about. Limping, redness, infection or swelling in the toe, splitting of the nail, twisting nails, things like this might set off an alarm though. Good luck with your flock and welcome to ours!

The nails will fall off. The toes look okay. Just watch for limping. Otherwise I think they'll be fine.

I agree with everyone else, I wouldn't worry too much unless they start limping or you see swelling. You'd be surprised at the things chickens can recover from.
