I got a chick on Sunday night that was just hatched late Saturday night and it was very weak and wouldn’t open its eyes. So I started it on nutri drench and gave it a couple drops with syringe but I accidentally got some in his nose. Will he be okay?? He keeps shaking his head he sneezed a couple times. Please tell me I didn’t just kill him or make him worse 😫😫

How is the chick doing? What you did will not kill it.
It’s still shaking its head but it’s acting normalish for the most part. It’s keeping its eyes open and moving a bit more. Still trying to get it to eat. But I’ve been giving him raw egg yolk. I read that helps

Chicks don't really need to eat for up to three days after hatching, they can survive on their absorbed yolk. This is why they can be shipped after hatching, often taking up to three days to reach their destination. Don't worry about it too much. You can dip his beak in a little sugar water today, then dip his wet beak in chick crumbles. That's what I do with chicks that I receive in the mail and they do fine. Keep it warm. Sugar water is 1 tsp suhar in 1 c warm water.
