I like it! It's perfect for a coop and would look great. Our coop ended up looking similar to this thanks to a friend that gave us a bunch of barn siding from a 50+ year old tobacco barn they were refurbishing.

You know, I bought a used shed or "small animal barn" from Craigs list, and it is AWESOME! Had it moved, painted it up and it's wonderful. The bldg is 8x12, and it's got two rooms--an 8x8 and an 8x4. I just love it!

I'd never paint it!! My original coop has plywood outside now, i'm waiting for barnboard
