I need coop recommendations

I built a 3x4 dog house style house and attached it to a coop house. It has worked well for 4 years for my 6 ducks but it is starting to fall apart. I recently purchased the plans linked below. My plan is to build this but put the house on the ground, use the space above it for supplies, and make it shorter (about 6 feet) with a hinged roof for cleaning. Maybe it will help you.

I only use the coop and run at night. I never shut them in the house portion, although when it is cold they all go in. I see you are also in Tennessee. When it is hot in the summer, they prefer to sleep in the run part. I would not lock them in a house or shed when it is really hot unless you have major ventilation. They are wearing down jackets all the time. My ducks rarely use the bathroom in the house so it is easy to clean. The pen is deep layer so it keeps it easy as well.
