There are 5 of the new hens that are 1 year old my original hen who is 9 months old and my rooster who is five months old. The two fighting are both a year old and new to the setting. One year and two months? Do you mean both birds are 14 months old or one is a year old, and the other is 2 months old?
It makes a huge difference! If a year old hen is picking on an 8 week old constantly something needs to be done about it.
Well if it goes on too long determine who the aggressor is and separate them for a little while. When they go back into the flock they will have to re-establish themselves and likely won't focus on that one bird anymore. There are 5 of the new hens that are 1 year old my original hen who is 9 months old and my rooster who is five months old. Ok thank you!!It is probably typical pecking order bickering or the beginning of a molting if there is no blood I wouldn't worry
Ok I thought about quarantining the one who keeps attacking in an old dog crate with plenty of food and water in the corner of the coop.Well if it goes on too long determine who the aggressor is and separate them for a little while. That might work. If nothing else she will be so happy to be let loose she may focus on other things.Ok I thought about quarantining the one who keeps attacking in an old dog crate with plenty of food and water in the corner of the coop.

Also be sure they have enough room and stuff to do to keep them occupied so they don't get bored and bully all day.
