Food Processor, buy a good one, Cuisineart. All the processors at Target and Wally World are throw away. If all your doing is cutting up boiled eggs or celery the BD will do. My wife even wore out a top of the line Kitchenaid processor though the mixer is still going strong. The Cuisenart was on sale for 349.00 from 499.00 at Dillards on line. They don't stock the big ones in their store. Remember that 25 years ago they used steel gears in everything.

You get what you pay for. Sometimes you don't even get that.

Mostly we use the food processor for making re-fried beans and shredding brick cheese. I make burritos often and freeze them. It is a pain to get the whole pinto beans broken up with out one. I am tired of not having one. I don't need a real fancy one. I think I will look at Target sometime and see what they have? I don't usually go to Target. I did look at Walmarts already.


I use to have one and have now went like 2 years without one. I ruined the one I had by using it for grinding up chicken feed for baby chicks. It did work well however. That did not ruin it in itself. Leaving it out side did though.

I had a blender too a pretty nice one. I burned it up trying to break up my beans

Cuisineart food processors are great! I got one in 1984 and I'm still using it.

I have to say, I love our Cuisineart. We use it way more than I thought we would. I think we've had it 15 years now and it still runs like a champ.

There is a MH2 that is on craiglist I was looking at.....do you know anything about this brand? Will it work with all live stock?
