I need help fast!!!

I need to leave for Florida for 5 days on sunday and I need to move my chicks with the big hens. I tried one chick and they were really mean to it. What should I do? I leave tommorow? I ev 2 hens and 6 chicks.

Moving new birds into an established group and then going away is a bad scenario. Is there any way that you can separate the coop so that they can be close but not in actual contact with one another. I seriously worry that the adult birds will kill the chicks.

who's caring for the birds while you are away? can you just get them to look in on the chicks?
