I am new to raising backyard chickens. In my flock, I have a Blue Laced Red Wyandotte that has started crowing within the last couple of weeks. At first, it was what I called the runty chick, because it was so small at 1 day old. It is now the biggest. They were hatched March 23 this year. My wife and I are in disagreement as to the sex of this chicken. I think it’s a he, and she thinks it’s a she.

I will attach some pictures of the chicken to see if I can get some advice from the experts.

Sickle Feathers is a dead give a way
Thank you. It’s what I thought Can you point out where sickle feathers are please, so I can show her? I’m not sure about the locations of all the different kinds of feathers people keep telling me about.
