I need help identifying my duck...

Hi everyone,

My lovely friend gave me a 'male' call duckling..... He/She's about 5 months old now and I'm certain He's a She. I'm also not sure if she's a Call duck. Is anyone able to help me identify her? She's very small, has the cutest QUACK (not a raspy quack) and no curly tail. Photos uploaded, but I'm not sure how to put them in my message....

I had trouble with pictures as well, but all I did was made a flickr account, its free (takes 2 seconds...okay a minute!) and then put the pictures onto your flickr and then put the link to your flickr photos up!

Is she on the phone all the time? If not, not a call duck.

Sounds suspiciously like a female, to me.

Thanks guys, I'm glad I've found a website for people who are nuts about feathers too. Have followed the link and have added photos. Tee hee, on the phone all the time.... It's ME that must be the call duck

So any ideas on what kind of ducky I have?

In the picture, I cant tell what her size is ....... call or bantam size.

If she is actually a Call duck, I would say she is a Snowy or a Silver.

If she is a bantam duck, her coloring looks like a Welsh Harlequin, but she looks a little too short in the body and round in the head for a Welsh.

Ooooh look!!! Chel you help me find the answer. Maybe she IS a call duck after all:

Apparently it's a Call Silver

Mine has a slightly different shaped beak and face though.

I think I need to find her a boyfriend.

Look at the feathers lifting up on the tail end--I think its a he. I have 3 male calls. When they went into molt a few months ago I posted questioning sex because the curls were missing on my male ( who was 9 months old?) He still doesn't have his drake curls back and its been months but he is a he for sure but looks like a girl!
