He was silver laced wyandotte. He was not sneezing or coughing, for few days i just saw him standing on his one foot and sleeping all time.
Yes my husband mixing that de in them food for every day feeding, very little bit, but still i feel like he is so overprotective, he loves these chickens like his kids

Could he have had a bad case of bumblefoot?
What did the bottom of that one foot look like?

It could be one of a hundred different things that cause him to pass.
The only way to know is to have a necropsy done.
We could guess all night long.
I am very sorry.

Sometimes things like this just happen.
Just be sure to feed your girls a good well balanced diet and hopefully they will continue to stay healthy for you.

When we bought chickens were 5 days old, he was smallest chicken with poop blocked his bud, i saved his life then, maybe he already having some heart issues, i think that was his time now...still very upset, but still having 5 females chickens to take care off, i have to be strong, pay even more attention
