I got these from Atwoods about 4-5 weeks ago. I'm not sure what they all are, I've looked at chick photo's, but I see so many that look the same to me.
I'm also not sure on the sexes. Thank you in advance for your help.
Chick #1, she(?) is the one looking at the cracker. Her color is more grey/blue. Kids named her(?) spider(man/woman). She(?) is very tolerant of us, but not as friendly as the others:
Here she(?) is behind the black chick.
Chick #2
This one is unnamed (suggestions?), she(?) is the friendliest. She(?) will run back and forth at the coop door and yell at me until I open it. Then, she(?) will run up the door, onto my arm, and up onto my shoulder:
and here nearest the camera on top of the coop:
Chick #3
This one too is unnamed(suggestions?), he(?) is just as friendly, maybe (very) slightly less. He(?) was chick #2's twin when I purchased them, but now he's(?) more yellow, where she(?) is more black. This is at about 3 weeks:
Now, today:
another:
Chick #4
He(?) is Ol'Yeller. Buff Cochin, I think. He(?) is very friendly also, but not quite as much as the two above:
Chick #5
I believe this to be a Rosecomb. I think 'hen'. She(?) was the tiniest of the bunch, kids named her(?) Mouse-Zilla, Zilla for short. She(?) is stand-offish and prefers not to be picked up. Once she(?) is in your hand, she'll(?) stay there:
Here's her(?) comb: (very hard to see the top 'horn' on the rosecomb, but it's there):
Chick #6
Spider(man/woman)'s twin, Venom (yeah, kids named him). I do believe this one to be a 'he'. Very pronounced(than all the others) redish comb and waddles. And, as his twin, not quite as friendly as the others:
Chick #7
We thought maybe OEGB hen, so she(?) was named O.G. (oh, gee). She(?) is also very friendly and will also pace the door, though quietly:
O.G., the two unnamed, and Ol'yeller will sit in my hand and sleep; jump onto my hand or arm when I open the coop door; they are just sweet pets. The others tolerate us, but just not as happy to come up to us as the others.
(Larger photos at http://downloads.trash80.org/pics/chickens/ . But be warned, they are large, about 3.5MB and would allow you to see in more detail (the files are not named for the birds))
