Yikes - I'm increasingly convinced my calico princess is actually a calico prince.

Minnie is only 5 weeks old, but her (?) tail feathers curve downward, she has some big whomping feet, and a slightly more developed comb. She's also bigger than the others, but since they are all different breeds, I'm not sure that has any meaning. She's friendly, and often the first to climb onto my lap, but I think I'm starting to notice some protective behaviors.

On the first night in the coop last night, the others three were jostling to squeeze in next to Minnie. Not only that but when I was in the coop with them and one had gone into the run to eat, one of our cats started meowing through the fencing. Minnie sprung into action, flying down on top of the one out in the run and herding her back inside. And a little later while in my lap, she made some croaking noises unlike the usual peeps. It's early, but it sounded for all the world as if she was trying to crow. Am I needing a name change for this one?
