Yikes - I'm increasingly convinced my calico princess is actually a calico prince.

Chickens that end up with white feathers start with yellow down. That's part of what confuses me with that chick.

Oh weird. Yeah, it's definitely not white. Guess I just get to wait and see.

So the chick I thought might be a roo is looking less rooster-like to me. Her tail is more rounded now, for one thing. I took these today, and she's 6 weeks and 2 days old.

Also, the feathers above the tail (saddle?) looked rounded to me. Could she just be a big girl, or am I deluding myself?
