I need help picking what bird I should/want to have!

They are very small. A hen is only 2 lbs on average. What I've read they are not very cold hardy. They don't have enough body mass. If you kept them with larger birds they might snuggle in and stay warm. With only 3 hens I think you'd have to heat the coop.

Search "Bantam Cochin thread" on BYC and lots come up. You can ask people who already have some all about them.

Ive only had dutch bantams and they did ok but thats as much as ive had i like my LF.
