I Need Help Please!!!!!!!!

my chicken has sour crop, I tried holding him up-side-down to make him vomit but I chickened out after about 12 seconds and let him up again, can I have some detailed instructions on how to make him vomit? like, how long you have to hold him there before he throws up, and how do you hold him up-side-down? Please help a very confused chicken mama.

another thing, I read some wear that you shouldn't make them vomit because they'll die?!?!?!?!?!

Vomiting means just emptying the crop. I don't think they'll die from that. If you kept it empty long enough, it'll die from starvation.
