I need HELP!! please

Thanks for your help and I've been gathering materials from pretty much anywhere I can find them. Im in north Georgia so I think they'll be comfortable in our weather. Never real hot and not to much extreme cold weather either

I live in tn. right now I use 1 gal. waters from TSC I hang my from board screwed to the coop I use a small dog chain if you cut 1/4 in. out of the link just at the twist it makes a great hanger. water anywhere feed somewhere dry. build a trough out of 1x6 boards fasten it to a wall inside the coop it will stay dry there i don't like hanging feeders they waste more feed I think than a trough . there are a lot of ways to make feeders .look on line I'm sure you will find a lot of ideals for feed and water .I'm working on coop #4 got to get back to it good luck

For feeders, look for the DYI thread on zero gravity no waste feeder bucket using a pvc elbow. If you have LF, it will work if raised off the ground on a block and about their height.
In my opinion, 4 (or more) square feet per chicken is better fot inside the coop. It prevents several issues. Many say more but the average seems to be 4-5.

I made a feeder tonight out of a flower pot. The pot was meant to hang on a wall or post (maybe) it has a flat back and slightly curved front and is only about 3 inches from front to back I cut a |__| shape out of the front and folded it in at an angle and glued it had to hold it awhile and then sealed it with some caulking not sure if it uploaded my pics or not. This feeder is more for my new chicks than anything as it's rather small

I posted to your thread a few days ago and I made mistake in my math I put 2 sq. ft. per chicken what I should have said was 2' x 2' thank goodness someone else posted the right amount of sq. Ft. which is 4 Ft. per chicken and more for larger chickens. isn't great that so many members are ready and willing to share there time & chicken sense with anyone who asks for help. I wish I had joined last year asked questions before I bought incubators and eggs .I made bad choices .I hope your coop is moving right along once again sorry but that's why I dig ditches because I can't add with calculator & would have study to pass blood test.

Too funny! Chicken math should be right up your alley then! And digging goes right along with building so it works out in the end!
:D

I like the flower pot check feeder! That is a new one to me.
Enjoy building! And having built 2 so far I would say it is worth having all the walls be covered inside! My friend's coop has exposed 21st with plywood on outside and and lip on inside. The girls roost bar is close enough to to the wall that most of their poop is being shot into the wall and crevices. It's going to be hard to really clean it all out!
