i need help with a couple questions for a chick that hated a couple ago. its been out of it shell for a couple hours now. theres something and i dont know whjat hanging from its behind. its not up walking arond yet neither i dont know if this is normal or not?

It sounds like the umbilical cord. How big is it? Is it just a string, or is it thicker like a pencil?
What color is it? Bloody? Yellow?
Newly hatched chicks can be tired, they have been thru alot. Give him some time.

its kinda long and yellow with a bloody looking ball on the end
