My Indian runner has recently layed a nest.(about 2 weeks ago) she's been nesting and I'm letting her do her thing but I also have dad who's a Pekin and Another female who's an Indian runner. Should I remove them from their housing area or should they be fine with the ducklings? I plan to remove them once hatched but I'm not home 24/7 to check them..thank you

I think they should do fine togeather. As long as they aren't bothering her sitting on the eggs. My only concern would be that the other runner might add her eggs to the one sitting. Then you would have a staggered hatch and possibly to many eggs for the sitter to handle. Good luck with your hatchlings. Runners don't make the best mothers so you might have to keep an eye on the little ones once they do hatch.

I'm surprised the runner is sitting on her own eggs. They are known for NOT doing this and just walking around and laying eggs wherever they go. You should remove the ducklings when they hatch though but that's my opinion.
