I need help with humidity in an incubator

Hello this is the first time that I have attempted to incubate eggs and I cannot keep the humidity maintained and it is all over the place. What can I do to keep it maintained.

I actually used wet paper towels at the bottom

What model of incubator? have you calibrated the sensors?

It helps if you can put it in a small room with stable temperature and humidity first. You could also trying adding sponges.
