Hi there is a silkie roo that I really want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and if I get him should I put him in the pen with my 7 cochin bantams, 1 cochin bantam roo, and 1 bantam buff brahma (9 females and 1 roo)
or should I put him in a pen with 2 leghorns, 1 silverlaced wyanndot,and 2 RIR (all females)

I'd say the one without a roo. too few hens per roos in the other.

I also recommend putting him in the one without a rooster. Also, unless you got him from someone whose birds you know for sure are healthy or from the same person your other birds are from, I'd strongly suggest you quarantine him for at least a couple of weeks (a month would be better) just to make sure he's not bringing any illness to your other birds.
