I need help with my 5 week old BR chick

I am a first time chicken momma and I have 5- 5 week old hens. i have one Buff Orphington (Buffy), one Amerucana (Dottie), one Bluelaced Barnvelder (Violet), one Speckled Sussex (Betsy) and one Barred Rock (Queenie). They have all been doing so good and are getting very big. We started to move them outisde for a couple of hours everyday since we live in Sunny SW Florida and it's been beautiful and they love it! My concern is for by BR Queenie. She is very quiet and calm almost bordering on lathergic sometimes. She is growing like the rest of them, although she used to be the biggest now she is not, and i see her eating and drinking but every time i check on them she's always in a corner by herself sleeping. Everyone else runs around like crazy but her. When they go outside she will get up and flutter around but then lays right back down. My husband thinks there is something wrong with her beak because it looks longer than the rest. I don't think she is sick but I am worried.

Welcome to BYC. Is she eating a normal amount, and are her droppings normal ?

She is eating but definitely not as much as the other ones. Someone has loose dark brown droppings with no white. I am not sure if it's her but it probably is.

Welcome. At her age coccidiosis might possibly be a problem. Corid from the feed store or TSC can treat that. Are you supplying chick grit for them since they are getting out in grass? How does her crop feel? Corid dosage is 2 tsp or 10 ml per gallon of water for 5-7 days as the only source of water. Treat all chicks at once. Coccidiosis symptoms are lethargy/sleepiness, poor appetite, weakness, runny poops, and bing hunched or puffed up. Until you get the Corid, get the chick drinking and mix in some plain yogurt or buttermilk.

Thank you so much. Yes, they are getting grit now. The chick starter i had them on was medicated but I switched to a starter/grower that i don't think is medicated. Her crop always feels smaller than the rest, the rest of them have full crops all the time. Mix the yogurt or buttermilk with the water? I will get the Corid today, thank you so much!

Oooo one of my adult rescue hens is like this... really lethargic and sleepy.

Just put a little plain yogurt into her beak with a dropper or syringe. Or use buttermilk. Then try to give water. Try to get the Corid soon.
