i need help with my chickens

I just rescued two chickens that hardly had any feathers I could really use come tricks of getting them back there comeing back a little but not much and there skin was soooooo red and hot!

Are they female? Are they sick? What’s really good for eggplant chickens of these are you can soak them in Epsom salt bath‘s warm water, and just wash away the dirt, feed them and see where that takes you

You may also want to treat with permethrin for mites or live and use Vaseline on their legs twice a day for 2 weeks after they get back to the up and up you may also want to worm them good luck with your babies hun

Hi there! Thank you for rescuing these sweeties. Heads up, it’s actually not good to hang them from their legs. Sorry. I agree a nice, warm Epsom salt soak and a good feed that is high in protein would be a good place to start. Also, the first one... what is all over her legs and feet? Is that caked on feces? She would probably really appreciate a nice soak and gentle scrub on her legs. The hens may need to be treated for lice and/or mites with permethrin spray. I would ease them into treatment, as the relocation will be stressful on them. I’m sure they will be very happy in your care, but may be frightened right now.
