i need help with my chickens

I just rescued two chickens that hardly had any feathers I could really use come tricks of getting them back there comeing back a little but not much and there skin was soooooo red and hot!

Hi there! Thank you for rescuing these sweeties. Heads up, it’s actually not good to hang them from their legs. Sorry. I agree a nice, warm Epsom salt soak and a good feed that is high in protein would be a good place to start. Also, the first one... what is all over her legs and feet? Is that caked on feces? She would probably really appreciate a nice soak and gentle scrub on her legs. The hens may need to be treated for lice and/or mites with permethrin spray. I would ease them into treatment, as the relocation will be stressful on them. I’m sure they will be very happy in your care, but may be frightened right now.
