Here is my situation. I am new to ducks. I we did a lot of research. I have 3 Khaki Campbell ducks. They are 6 weeks old. I am hearing a noticeably different quack in one duck and the other two are growing in a band of lighter colors on their wings. I will attach picture. The duck with the QUACK also seems a tiny bit smaller than the other two. We are very worried that we have 2 drakes and 1 duck. Is it too early to be worried? I have also read that at 2 months they can change again and to not worry at 6 weeks. They are our pets and we wanted eggs. I guess I'm asking how the future will be?

I also have a friend who is trying to rehome a 3 year old female mallard. If I tried to fix this situation with making two pairs, would the mallard fit in? Ugh... any help would be so appreciated!

Hard to tell with the one in the front.
The one in the middle is a drake.
The one on top right is a hen.
The front one looks like a drake too i think... not super clear tho.
The back feathers above tail... dark in a drake and lighter and pencilied in a hen
There are some good photos in the khaki campbell thread.
You would need 3-4 hens per drake. So just one hen wont fix the problem. It would be best to find another couple girls and then rehome one of the drakes if you dont want 6-8 more girls.
And the drakes will prob still have some fights over girls sometimes.
And if your wanting eggs- a 3 year old mallard wont really help. They only lay seasonally and arent good layers.

Good layers breeds
Khakis
Runner ducks
Welsh harlequins
White layers- metzer
Golden 300- metzer
Silver appleyard
Saxony
Pekins.
Those are all listed as over 200 eggs per year in my duck book, some 250-300
