I did today actually but it did not help. It made the itch worse.

Ouch! Have you tried Zanfel? It's a sort of cream-soap you rub into the rash, then wash off. It's quite effective; it was recommended to us by our local radio garden show host (our mostly-wooded property has *herds* of poison ivy). We always keep a tube on hand!

I would go get checked. Maybe you are sensitive to steroids. Did they give you a shot? Are you taking Benadryl?

Old school remedy...Search for a picture of Plantain Weed. Super common in most folks yards. Crush the leaves and rub the juices on your skin. Works for Mosquito Bites and Beer Stings. ..JJ

Hi I think I'll have to go back to urgent care in the morning. My arm is very swollen and the rash itches even worse than before I went to urgent Care for the first time and the muscle underneath the rash hurts really bad. And I think I might have poor circulation because my had keeps calling asleep even though I'm using my arm and had like normal. Any suggestions?

Where did they put the shot in? It could have hit a nerve. Did it feel like a quick bolt of lightning in your arm? (Cortisone feels like a deep long ache down your arm, but hitting a nerve is like a quick flash). Can cause pins & needles for months til the nerve heals. Or you could be having an allergic or autoimmune reaction. If it does'nt get better soon go to the Dr. immediately!
