I NEED HELP!

Hello community!

I’m having a very hard time finding a way to give my chickens water. I’ve spent well over $100 on buckets and containers for water. Every single one of them leaks! Ive even attached water bowls to a bucket and somehow it still leaks out leaving my chickens dying of thirst the next day.. I’ve tried everything I can think of. I’m out of ideas.

Does anyone know of water containers or jugs that will not leak? Or any ideas on how to set it on the ground without them stepping in it and clogging it up?
Thank you!
:welcome :frow Just curious since you haven't posted if you have figured out your waterer issue. Good luck...

This is a pic of the one she posted about. I have and like this one too... as you don't have to turn it upside down when filling it. If this one had a way to keep the water from gushing out until you had it filled, it would be PERFECT. I know I can put my finger over it, and do, but I would love a feature that made that not necessary.
I prefer the vertical nipples to keep the water cleaner, but these do pretty good. I have the taller one.

I have a 275 gal food grade tote, filled with rainwater collected off the barn, which feeds a PVC pipe with poultry cups, and is capped at the end with a spigot and a hose stub - into an automatic dog watering bowl - since my ducks can't use poultry cups.
I saw your pic of this set up in another thread and THIS is what would do if I knew when first starting out what I know now.
I have most of things needed to make this happen now... Soon! very soon, this will be a reality at my farm. Especially the dog bowl for the ducks. Pure genius!!!

Ones like this are great as they have a blac cap you screw on the tray fill port before unscrewing the top to prevent leaking.

They come in a few sizes. Years ago (decades actually) I had a couple 5 gallon ones.

Drawback is they are not heated for winter. I never tried the heated bases with mine so cannot say if they work or not.

I did like that they were easy to clean too.
