egzactly, especially on whats going on with temp on a new bator, youll need a seperate small gauge or two and check, check, check all throughout the day and night for a few days ... youre looking for stability and consistency, and how ambient, location, etc conditions might be affecting it .. ideally it should 'never' go outside 98.5-100.5, achieve that and ive always seen over 70% hatchrate assuming the eggs are fertile and they arnt old or handled rough .. make sure the turner turns them, mark them, and dont disturb the incubator , leave it alone except maybe to candle once midway ... ive found humidity is the least important factor, but it needs to stay 'stabile' .. especially at hatch time .. but again, it will play into temps and overall stability, so think 'steady' .. experiment and monitor a new bator enough to achieve that BEFORE starting eggs .. working it out over 2 weeks or more while eggs are developing in it is a recipe for fail ..
