Get some EE hens , a Cochin roo , and make Cochinees .

Seriously , it would make an interesting cross .

I have both.
Std cochin pros: Awsome size, gentle temperment ( roo lets dd 6 carry him), lay in winter, can be shown
Std cochin cons: take FOREVER to mature ( 11 months and counting ), hard to keep foot feathers nice, combs can get frostbite

EE pros : lay sooner, colored eggs, not frostbite, come in cool colors, good temperment ( if handled well) cute cheek poofs
EE cons: can't be shown
