I need humane ways to euthanize chicks

Yesterday I had to euthanize a chick. She got caught in the garden, and degloved her head and neck trying to get out. Poor, poor baby. I used the baking soda and vinegar and it was quick and I don't think she suffered any more than she was suffering. I suffered a lot and still am. My son wants the mom gone, since she was such an awful broody and mom. She's a good layer, but he doesn't care.

I've posted this before. It's always a sad thing to need to repost, but very helpful when folks need it. I use this method for chicks who simply can't be helped, and it works very well.
