I need Ideas for a coop that will hold 2 chickens

I Need a small coop and run that is for only 2 chickens the coop will be near a road so it has to have a run.

Rabbit hutch lik style (or buying one cheap on craigslist and renovating ) would be perfect for a pair of chickens with an added nest box on the side, and the top flipping up. Make the run as tall as the hutch and screen it in together.

Maybe consider a re-used dog house? You can often find them to be quite affordable on CL. You could build a run or put the whole house up on legs and put the run underneath...

Two... two chickens... seriously are you trying to force yourself to behave. It isn't possible.... build a big coop, BIG I say.

Mine was a dog house. I bought it from C.L. for 35 dollars and remodeled it. If I had it to do over I would have done it like chuckzoo did his. I wanted a bigger run, but it turned out to be a lot more work than I anticipated.

Here is what my coop looks like now;

I added the other section when they got ready to lay. The doors are interchangeable, in summer they have the hardware cloth.shadenet doors on the laying side and in winter I change them out for solid doors. The mist you see in front of the coop is my mister to keep the hens cool.
