This is the current set up I have.

There were two buckets there before that hen went broody. The buckets were secured with wire to the back fence and there are nails barely sticking out of the front board to hold the buck down. My problems with this set up is that the hens have a bit of trouble getting in there without sliding, and eggs are busted at least 3 times a week. We put a piece of vinyl flooring in the bottom for easy cleanup.
Is there anything easier? Since I have that broody, I had to make a new temp nest box. It's just a rectangular frame, short sides to keep hay in, and less than 2 feet off the ground. I had the other half bucket secured in there, but I still have a lot of busted eggs. So, tonight I took that out and put the vinyl flooring in there to see how they do with it.
