Thank you, everyone, for your help. NOnuggets, I really appreciated your reply! We only have 2 dogs, penned usually unless we're out with them, 3 cats, and 5 chicks, so the ''other animal'' thing wouldn't be a problem. We have about an acre that we are fencing and were planning to get goats because they eat weeds AND grass. Now that I have found this llama and done some research, it seems like that may be a better choice. From what I have learned, it seems like they are gentle, easy keepers, and don't eat a lot. I love to learn, and if something interests me I try to find out all I can about it. I don't know yet if we'll be getting him, we need to get our fence up first. It is started, finally!
