Ok I purchased dry cider vinegar BVS.. Oh now I just seen more measurements on the package. it says mix 208 gram pack for 6 gallons; so would I divide 6 into 208 to get my 1 gal measurments ??? Not good at math here need help.
Then I bought perma- guard pure Diatomaceous earth product, fossil shell flour. It says to be mixed in animal feed in amount not to exceed 2% by weight of total ration. does anybody know how to measure this in the right amounts. I so would appreciate the help here. thank you

Sorry I don't know the dosage of ACV but if you put ACV dosage in the search box it should come up. Actually DE doesn't seem to do anything for chickens, but others will be coming on this thread after me and they may have different opinions. Welcome to Backyard chickens.

208/6=34.6
So 34.6 grams for 1 gallon.

But this link for dry cider vinegar BVS:
http://www.qcsupply.com/549990-bvs-dry-cider-vinegar.html
Says:
Directions: Mix [1] packet per 768 gallons of drinking water
Contents: 208 gram Packet
So I'm not sure what your intentions are.

DE in feed is to kill pests that might be living IN the feed while it's stored.
Does nothing once wet inside and animal

Appoximately 225 grams is about 1 cup. There are about 16 tablespoons in one cup, soo kind of sorta, I think if you added between 2 and 3 tablespoons of the stuff to a gallon of water, you would be close.

If you want it more exact, poor it out onto wax paper, divide it into 6 equal piles, cut the wax paper into 6 squares and twist up the squares with a daily dose.

Personally, if you giving this to animals to drink, I would start out fairly dilute and work up to full strength as they get used to it.

I agree with Aart on the DE
