They would be with my mallard who has grown on them since she is the 'leader' of the two, she leads them everywhere but she also loves being in the water and I have not put her in with the pekins because she would choose the chickens over those ducks anytime, sometimes she'll leave them behind to go eat with the chickens. I have a pen (with shelter) that I use when I have injured chickens/ducks so they can still go outside and get exercise. The pekins are doing great, getting more talkative and used to the area and are now able to walk down to the creek without assistance! I would not put the muscovies in with them because they still do their own thing and prefer no water.How are they doing with the other ducks? Is that what you mean putting them in with the other where they will have access to food and shelter?
