I Need Pics Of Nesting Box Lids

I am designing a shelf for my nesting boxes that I can access from the outside of the run. I'm looking for ideas for lids. The dimensions of the lid will be approx. 18" x 8' and it needs to be watertight, predator tight, and wife accessible. Any pics or ideas would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a couple of pics of my nest box. I put some rubber door gasket at hinged area and I live in PA and had 27 days of rain in June with no leaks.

Thank you, i was thinking of putting tin on top as well. looks great

I did a sliding door . works well for the wife and the son. I used drip edge reversed
with heavy caulk along the mateing edges.
