Sorry folks, Boogie is very much a boy, and two years old now.

don't let the crest fool ya, he sprouted out pointy feather through that mop of feathers about 3 or 4 weeks later, and was already making a crow like a bad trumpet player at the time of the photo. The give away trait on all the male that I have hatched is that they get red/pink at the top of the beak at about 7 weeks. In the photo of Boogie on the right you can see it slightly.
