I need portable house plans - NOT a tractor

I have a flock of 20 birds (2 roos, 18 hens) inside a portable electric net pen. Well, the roos are getting frisky, and I have to split the flocks. The only problem is that I have only the one house. I need plans for a house that is portable, and holds about 30 birds (always leave room to grow). All the birds overwinter in a large coop together, so it doesn't have to be 'winter-proof', but it does have to be dry.

Would a 10' x 10' range house on skids work? The building is only about 4' tall and the walls are covered with netting. Check out #5400 in these North Dakota State University plans. I'm sorry to say that the plans were copied so many times before scanning they almost become illegible in these pdf files.

There's a larger one for turkeys but you'd probably be okay with smaller if they are only in the building for nighttime shelter. You can also scroll down to the poultry barns. There's one that's 6'x8'x5' and one larger, both are on skids.

thanks for the link. I need something rather small, so that when I move I can take it with me. The house I have now is pretty wide, and I think I'm going to have to leave it behind.

My coop was made so that it could be jacked up and slid into the bed of a pickup. Thing is, it never went anywhere. After about 12 years, the coop is still sitting in the same place and I'm still here with it

I'm sorry - I don't have usable plans. I measured the bed of my pickup and built it like a camper. There's a center wall between the doors seperating an insulated half and a sunporch.

You wouldn't need that dividing wall and insulation, I suppose. Thirty chickens would be a lot in there but it might work okay.

Perhaps you can find plans for a camper on the net and just build the exterior walls. Here's wishing you the best of luck

Or you could get some little road worthy flat or low-sided trailer and build on top of that. Would that work? Then all you'd have to do is hitch it up and go. That would be pretty easy, when it was time to move.

There are all kinds of old trailers around. Homemade, used, originally for camping, boats, ATVs, horses and just plain stuff. You could use any of them as a base.

good idea on trailer... old boat trailers are everywhere and you could put a wire floor to let droppings fall straight to ground.

How about an older pull along camper. They are inexpensive in some states. Just a thought.

Thanks for all the info everyone! I should have been more informative in my first post, but I guess I really didn't know what I wanted untill I got some suggestions. Sometimes what we don't want is more clear that what we do want.
I need a coop that is easy to move, will house 15-25 birds (a big range, I know), and has room for nest boxes. It doesn't have to be too secure because it will be used inside an electric net fence. It doesn't have to be winter proof because the birds all overwinter in a big coop. It doesn't have to be big enough to have a feeder and waterer, the waterer sits on the ground outside, and I can throw together a quick shelter to stick the food under.
Did i mention that I need the new coop NOW?
I was thinking of making something out of hog pannels and/or wire fencing.
ETA - Of course I would put a tarp on top to keep out the rain and sun.
