I need pressure canner reccomendations please

There are two methods of preserving, pressure canning and hot water bath. I'd suggest getting one that can do both. I don't know the "size" of mine, but I can pressure can 18 pints in my Presto but only hot water bath 9 pints or 8 quarts due to head room requirements. I'd suggest matching the capacity for what you plan to do then go just a little bit bigger.

We normally can in pints since there are only two of us. That influenced the size we chose. I did get the extra rack for the water bath method, not the lift out type rack (the jar lifters work great for that and don't limit how many you can do at once) but the flat type so you can stack.
