I Need Some Health Tips Please =)

ok i found out that you burn eucalyptus oil in the burner while you burn a candle under it on that burner thing.

These are all great tips. It won't work as quickly, but to improve your resistance over time, it really helps to watch your sweets intake. That includes anything from sugar to corn syrup to Splenda. And stay away from smoke-first or second hand. I hope you feel lots better soon.

and by the way debi, I AM NOT CUTE! DONT CALL ME CUTE

I'm not about to suggest a minor run out and buy a bottle of whiskey! I know ol' grandma would have have given us a tablespoon of that stuff, even as youngsters, if we needed it.

Just sayin'.

Oh, I also wanted to add that if you are going to melt some vics on an oil burner, you should fill up the bowl with water and just add a small amount of Vics. If you burn the vics by itself, it will sizzle and pop, and very likely stink. (I am guessing because it is petroleum based, isn't it?)

Better yet, boil a pot of water on the stove. When it boils, move it to the table on a trivet. Put a big dollop of Vics in the water (about a tablespoon.) Then using a towel to make a tent, lean your head over the pot and cover your head and the pot together with the towel to trap the steam in.

Remember, hot water burns. (think McDonald's coffee)

Good oxygen vibes comin' your way.

My youngest son swears by hot-peppers. When he feels like he's coming down with anything he eats 'em like candy, pours tons of hot-sauce on any food he eats, and gargles with the vinegar any hot peppers have come in.

When the other four kids would get sick - he'd start with the peppers and escape the family epidemic. (No one else could stand all that mess, so we all got sick!)

Hey fellow Marylander! I'm over in Fredneck.

My tips:

1. Sunlight - at least an hour a day. Being out in the air is the best - but next to a sunny window is good, too.

2. Water - over and above your daily requirement (which is computed by taking your weight in pounds, half that and drink that many ounces each day. Example: if you weight 180, half that is 90 - so 90 ounces. That alone is a few more than the 8 glasses myth. Americans are mostly chronically dehydrated.).

Feel better soon!

chicken soup and vicks salve. Not the kind of soup in the can either.
also for the cough, get some fresh squeeded lemon juice and mix it with honey, take about 2 tablespoons. you can do this as often as you need too. and plenty of bed rest!! You can also try halls cough drops they help some at opening your sinuses up. but the chest congestion might call for an antibiotic.

My dd is allergic to almost everything. If she get sick she basically has to wait it out. she is allergic to almost every antibiotic there is.
Acouple of years ago she was on ceclor for an ear infection, I was at work and got a phone call. "Mommy, Jennifer has got some huge spots on her that are itching her to death what do you want me to do" Well she was 16 . I called her dad at work. then I had to leave work take her to the ER where I found out that if I had not gotten her there when I did she could have died. she had a reaction to the antibiotic. they gave her a shot to counter act the antibiotic, to which she was allergic too also. so had to take benidryl pills for weeks. I promise you this girl is allergic to everything. even honey.
bees I mean everything
