i need some help(not a disease)

i need some help, i recently lost a rooster, but the thing is that he was fully healthy, and no animal could of gotten to him, he had a broken wing neck and leg. so i need help with that and
i recently received a complaint about the noice of them, so i need help to figure out how to handle this too, i dont want to lose my chickens

a little more detail on the situation would help. what kind of set up do you have? what kind of yard? fence? where did you find him? in coop? how do you secure it? what you described sounds like a human was the predator. Are you allowed to have them? was the complaint official or verbal?

sorry about not being descriptive egnouf, here is more details:
we got the complaint from a note on the mailbox 2 days before he died
he was found in the coop(a dog house there were only 3 in that group)
and on the outside we have like half inch between the holes in the fence, not egnouf for a racoon, and the doors we always keep closed, and latched

I don't know what we can say that might help you... it doesn't sound like a predator to me, as the bird wasn't eaten or dragged away. The fact that his body was left there, and that his neck and back were cleanly broken, sounds like the work of a human, and that it was a message for you. The obvious explanation is that whoever left you the note finally had enough, and came over and silenced your bird permanently.

Are there rules where you live about pet/livestock noise? If you're legally keeping the birds, this may be a matter for law enforcement. I don't know where you are, but in the U.S., it is illegal for someone to come onto your property and kill your animal. Even if they have a legitimate complaint about the noise, they still need to take that through proper channels.

I live in a suburb, and am concerned about noise. That's why I don't have a rooster. Still, my hens make a fair amount of noise when they lay. I am keeping them on the side of my house that is next to a real animal lover who says he doesn't mind them clucking - and I ply him with eggs to keep him happy.

Sounds like to me as well, that someone was clearly sending you a message. It was wrong and cruel. As long as you are aloud to keep the chickens on your property, no one has the right to tell you otherwise. It most definitely sounds like law enforcement needs to be involved here. I would start with finding out what your local ordinances are and what kind of noise ordinances there are in your area. After you have done some homework on the issue, I would contact your law enforcement. Make sure you get your homework on the ordinances done first. That way you will know your rights and can make a better case. Someone might be replacing your chick.

there is one problem with the human becuse we had locks on all the doors, locked up and we kept the key in the house, but they could also of picked it, and we live in the usa and have the birds legally and there is aloud to be hens and roosters here, so no laws broken and it isnt like he was that loud, and most of it would be dround out by all of the trees around, he was about as loud as a sick chicken crowing, but he was fully healthy
