The tag says Montgomery Ward. Went and bought a plucker off a guy and he showed me this and we bought it. Everything seems to be in working order. There are wires in each tray that stretch accoss the back, down sides and bends on each end. Was this used for turning purposes? How will this work compared to a 1502 Sportsman? Any assistance would be a huge help. Trying to figure out how to post a photo but so far no luck. It has 6 drawyers and stands maybe 54 inches tall.

The wires are for turning the eggs. You pull the wire out of one tray and push it into the next for turning of the eggs. There should be bars across the trays. Check out www.heavensentranch.com and www.leggspeafowl.com. The heaven sent ranch site is good and debi will email back very helpfull, leggs peafowl has downloadable manual. I just finished restoring my Brower 624 and started my restoration of the second one. They are beautiful when restored. Your unit was probably mfg'd by Leahy.
